The Swiss platform Smiling House has launched a new travel agency tool called “Villa Tracker”, designed to simplify the search for suitable luxury accommodation. Smiling House gives travel agents access to around 12,500 exclusive villas, chalets, and private island properties across 50 countries. Travel sellers can create PDF files directly through the platform for their clients and actively use them for marketing purposes. The commission is ten percent.
Travel agency distribution as an important pillar
Smiling House was founded in 2015 in Gstaad and specialises in luxury holiday rentals. The founders are Ira Rockmann and Moriya Rockmann. Alongside direct sales, the two entrepreneurs have focused from the beginning on B2B solutions for travel professionals.
The portfolio includes not only luxury holiday apartments, but also chalets, villas, and castles. According to Moriya Rockmann, the goal is to provide “special service, high-quality amenities, and an experience that goes beyond a simple holiday rental.”
Global network
The extensive portfolio is based on a global network of landlords and property owners. According to Moriya Rockmann, Smiling House relies on various certifications “with standards and support that are important for luxury travellers.”
